Within the broader NFDI initiative, the 4Memory consortium aims to serve the community of all those working with historical data.
As we move forward toward the submission of our funding application later this year, we are organizing a series of one-day meetings in different parts of Germany.
These "Community-Treffen" will:
- provide information about 4Memory and the NFDI initiative;
- assess the needs and potential contributions of various members of the historically oriented humanities with regard to research data management; and
- take initial steps toward building our community, also for the longer-term operation of the 4Memory consortium.
Details of the meetings are still being planned; however, the Community-Treffen will take place on the following dates in the following cities:
- 27 March 2020: Munich
- 30 March 2020: Berlin
- 21 April 2020: Mainz
- 22 April 2020: Düsseldorf
- 24 April 2020: Halle
